Panic Multiplayer EULA for Big Walk
Like life itself, Big Walk cannot be played alone. You'll need at least one other person to go exploring with, but if you can round up more, even better!
Big Walk supports cross-play, meaning a group can play together regardless of which gaming platform each player is using individually.
There is no centralized House House or Panic controlled server for Big Walk games. One player decides to act as the host and generates a unique, private, Join Code to share with the other players who want to join the host's game. Network traffic is sent via Epic Online Services, which is used to relay game data between the Client and Host.
This means neither House House nor Panic are able to monitor or control anything that happens during your adventure. It also means that moderation of player conduct is solely the shared responsibility of the group. We can't kick a player out of your game. We do not have insight or recordings of your game sessions.
The Join Code, when combined with a password, also ensures that nobody can join your game unless they have that information. So, as long as you invite nice people, you will have a nice time!
Neither House House nor Panic offer a "matchmaking" service for players looking to find a group of strangers to play together. You can share your host's private code publicly at your discretion of course, but depending on who shows up this could be a less pleasant experience or potentially a really bad one. We strongly encourage you to play with a group you already know and trust, and to set a password on your game session. If you're under 18, don't share your host's Join Code with anyone you don't know, and don't join sessions hosted by people you don't know.
For the benefit of all Big Walk players, please:
- Don't do anything that interferes with or adversely impacts any other player's ability to play the game normally.
- Don't use the game to create or distribute anything that violates another person's privacy or other rights.
- Don't engage in conduct that is abusive, bullying, harassing, or sounds like a physical or verbal threat against another person.
- Don't use the game to do or coordinate anything illegal.
- Be chill, and take your time!
Thank you, and enjoy your Big Walk!
